All right ladies and gentlemen, it's time to put down your bet and join us for poker cards run 3. the game is played just like last month's run see below ; . we follow the rally route, pick up a card at each checkpoint, best hand wins. you win a bottle of wine. no box wine and no swill and it will be a "red". if you have been a long time club member and have never joined us for an event, make this your first. have a nice drive in the country, meet some new people, have fun! if you are going to join us, call me jim drury ; at 708.354.8121 before 2100 hours or email me at jamesdrury ameritech i would like to know how many cars will be playing along. last minute entries are fine. we are out to enjoy the day and have some fun. you will be given the route of the rallye. this way you will learn about rallye's at the same time. there will be 5 checkpoints along the way to pick up a card. this is not a speed run, nor is it a "timed" run. this is a fun run. take your time and enjoy the day driving your car. at the end of the rallye we meet for a bite to eat and perhaps an adult beverage while we will determine who has the best hand. you have to "pay to play", and you ante up which goes to the club's charity fund for 2006. so come on out in your porsche that may be clean or not, meet some new people, and have some fun.
